Two points of closure behind the front legs rather than one. A single-strap harness only has to rotate slightly for a dog to back out of it. This design keeps a strap in front of and behind the shoulder, so reversing tightens rather than loosens it.
None of that works if the fit is loose. Escape-proof is a property of the fitting, not the label.
Get this right in the house before the first walk. A dog who backs out of a harness on a street once will try it again, and a loose dog by a road is the situation this equipment exists to prevent. Two fingers flat under every strap, and check again after ten minutes of movement, because harnesses settle.
Leash weight is matched to small dogs. For anything above about 20kg, use a full-size leash.
