Reflective Rope Leash — 8mm & 12mm, 1.5m or 1.8m

A leash is the one piece of equipment you use every single day, which is why the cheap ones fail in the same two places: the stitching at the snap, and the handle after a winter of being gripped in a glove.

Braided climbing-style rope in 8mm or 12mm, 1.5m or 1.8m, with a padded neoprene handle and a reflective thread woven through the braid rather than printed on top of it. Six colours. Aluminium snap hook.

Which one

Take the 8mm for dogs under about 20kg, the 12mm above that. On length, 1.8m gives a dog more room to sniff without dragging you around, 1.5m keeps them closer on pavement. If you are actively working on loose leash walking, the shorter one gives you clearer feedback.

The reflective braid matters more than people expect in a Canadian winter, when most walks happen in the dark at both ends of the day.
